We are the Officers of Sri Lanka Information Communication Technology Service (SLICTS) in Sri Lanka.
WHO WE ARE?
Government Information and Communication Technology Officers Association represents the Tertiary Level Staff Officers of the Information and Communication Technology Service of Sri Lanka. The Association has been a pioneering organization with insightful officers, dedicated to uplift the state sector IT operations island-wide, representing the Information and Communication Technology service.
The Association was established in 2013 with the launch of the Sri Lanka Information and Communication Technology Service in the public sector. The association registered under section 10 of the trade union Ordinance. The founding members of the association are 40. The founder president is Mr. S.A.A.Sandarapperuma and founder Secretory is Mr. P.S.Ariyarathne.
From district secretariats to ministries, designated as ICT officers, we are performing a critical role in providing a high standard public services in various sectors with the use of IT. The association has members at all corners of the country with nearly two hundred members and is growing in number since its inception in 2014.
